PHAME On Tour!

The tour rocked. The students rocked. The staff rocked. The volunteers rocked. The audiences rocked. We all rocked. And rolled. And rocked again!

It was such an unforgettable experience.

The highlights for me: talking to, and getting to know better, so many students I’d only ever exchanged few words with; getting to know some of the lovely volunteers; seeing the look of satisfaction, joy and pride on our students’ faces; having the great feeling that I’ve done a good job helping out my students write so many wonderful pieces of writing; and being a part of this great community that is PHAME.

Thanks so much to you all! Let’s have another tour soon!

All I can think of today is that we did it!

We did it, we did it, we did it.

We launched and completed PHAME: the H is for Honored tour.

We made magic.

We executed on a big dream and we all came together to make it happen; and we made it happen beautifully.

The students of PHAME shined on courageously. The staff worked with so much heart. The volunteers (more than 40 of you!) buoyed us all. The donors and supporters stood with us.

We did it and I am so incredibly proud of us for doing it.

Rock on, PHAME! Rock on.

OK, folks - our “PHAME: the H is for Honored Tour” wraps up this Thursday, March 22nd, 7 pm at the Aladdin Theater with a blowout showcase performance featuring PHAME’s inspiring student performers and artists and special guests from Live Wire Radio and the Bureau of Standards Big Band!

Tickets are only $15 each, and available online now - tickets are also available at the door the night of the show. Doors are at 6 pm, and the show blasts off at 7 pm!
